Winter Activities

Whistler is a year-round resort, but perhaps more so during the winter. There are so many activities to choose from. Skiiers and boarders of all experience levels will find something to do here. Beginners, whether adults or children can take lessons and get a professional guide to show you all the Whistler resort has to offer. For more adventurous skiers/boarders, you can try Heli skiing or Heli-boarding. 

Your entire family will enjoy sliding down the slopes at the Tube Park. The park is open from December through April and features 8 different lanes and a state-of-the-art- conveyer to get you and your tube to the top. Couples, on the other hand,  may enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride around the village and Eco-tourists may want to take in the wide range of eco- and wildlife tours. don't forget that you can even do a little snowmobiling, dog sledding, or snowshoeing.

Shoppers will enjoy the pedestrian-friendly environment that Whistler offers. Whether you're in the valley or on the mountain, looking for a few groceries or souvenirs for friends, you’ll find everything you need at Whistler. If you forget your skis or other mountain gear, stop by the local shops for a replacement.

After a long day on the mountains, you’ll find plenty of places to eat in Whistler. coffee/tea shops, cafes, and a large selection of bars and grills, sit-down, and fast food restaurants are around every corner so you’ll never go hungry. If you're in the social mood or feel like dancing, check out the Whistler nightlife. You can find clubs, lounges, cigar bars, and live music of all kinds.
